Index: Fensirt

Set on Avengaea, Fensirt is the story of the meeting of Kaitan Friave, a human, and Tuanada and Qensuna, a couple of Rider daemons. Kaitan is a surly teenager of dubious origin, trying to cope with being thrust into a position of both privilege and responsibility... and at the moment, cocking it up badly. Tuanada is a Rider by birth and trade who is going through a pretty major life change, and Qensuna is a young Rider trying to find her place in a world where the expectation is that, for daemons, biology is inextricably tied to career.

The prompts for the pieces of the story I'll write for rainbowfic are Amber, for Fensirt's intimate connection to its mineral habitat, Skylight, because despite the dust it's still an urban center, and Scarlet, because the whole of Kaitan's story is rife with self-made strife.
